CRUSHA Introduces 'No Added Sugar' Range
27th Oct 2005
CRUSHA has launched two ‘No Added Sugar’ varieties to support its number one milkshake mix range in foodservice. Taking note of Government and parental concerns about obesity the CRUSHA ‘No Added Sugar’ range is one of the first of its kind.
Now available in Strawberry and Banana flavours, the Strawberry option has 0.4 kcal per 20ml serving and the Banana flavour has 3 calories per 20ml serving. Further extension of the range is planned for release later this year. The core range Strawberry and Banana options have 25kcal per 20ml serving.
Milk is one of the most nutritionally complete foods available and provides half of a child’s daily calcium requirement. With CRUSHA milkshake mix caterers can encourage children to drink more milk to provide them with calcium and vitamins that are essential for strong teeth and bones.
The launch of the ‘No Added Sugar’ range is to be supported by national and satellite TV campaigns throughout the summer holidays. For further information caterers can call CRUSHA direct on 01733 422499.
